Kanna is Old Norse. It means to investigate, to explore new territory.
We chose the name because that is what healthcare needs right now: organisations willing to look closely at how things work, and explore better ways of doing them.
Kanna was founded on the belief that healthcare doesn't need more work. It needs better ways of working. We are building the company carefully, with the ambition to become a partner that healthcare organisations can rely on for the long term.

This is the idea at the centre of everything we do. Kanna exists to create room: room for healthcare professionals, room for better care, and room for new ways of working, created by removing unnecessary complexity.
